The construction is limited to the section between the Lemmon and Hall bridges. There is a temporary trail in place that gets you easily and safely past the construction zone. And you probably only heard about it recently because the construction just started two weeks ago. Hope you enjoy the Katy Trail. And remember, it's contributions to the Friends of the Katy Trail that take care of it, keep water in the drinking fountains, and keep the lights on.
